New LEXION 570 combine provides increased harvesting capacity
Omaha, Nebraska
September 21, 2006

Designed for growers who want to harvest at faster speeds while maintaining high quality grain and straw, CLAAS Omaha announces a new standard in straw walker technology with the introduction of the LEXION 570 combine.

The LEXION 570
Threshing and Separation System

The LEXION 570 features six high performance straw walkers and an award-winning Multifinger Separation System (MSS) for improved threshing and separation of the grain. With its 67-inch-wide threshing and separation system, the LEXION 570 leads the industry in threshing and separation area.

"The new 570 with its 350 horsepower CAT® C-9 engine provides ample harvesting capacity and performance," says Bob Armstrong, product marketing manager in Omaha.  "All LEXION combines contain our exclusive Accelerated Pre-Separation System (APS), separating up to 30 percent of the grain at the APS cylinder and sending it to the cleaning system. This allows the combine increased crop throughput and ensures even crop flow through the machine."

The 570 also features a high-capacity grain cleaning system with large sieves and a LEXION exclusive 280-bushel folding grain tank.
