SGS MWSS of Brookings, South Dakota U.S.A. is pleased to
announce the approval by AQIS (Australian Quarantine and
Inspection Service) of our seed-testing laboratory as an
approved ISTA testing facility.
This approval will facilitate the
importation of seed tested by SGS MWSS into Australia by
eliminating the current requirement of the AQIS stations to
re-sample and re-test the seed upon arrival.
The combined efforts of key personnel in Australia and SGS MWSS
were instrumental in obtaining the approval. This effort
involved nearly 6 months of work and the review of a number of
SGS MWSS issued ISTA Orange Certificates for accuracy against
AQIS tested samples. This recognition of our ISTA accredited
seed laboratory serves to expedite seed shipments between our
two countries.
SGS MWSS specializes in seed testing and quality assurance
services. SGS MWSS is an International Seed Testing Association
(ISTA) accredited laboratory, as well as ISO 9001:2000 certified
since 2002. |
