The broad and versatile range of WINTERSTEIGER and HEGE plot seeders was completely revised and enhanced in 2007. The aim was to keep the tried and tested, and to press ahead with innovations where it was necessary.

The result may be described as a successful evolution, and is characterised in the following areas:

• New, standardised belted cone and cone distributor systems
• New, standardised transverse distributor systems
• New, standardised distributor heads
• New, standardised magazine systems
• New, standardised splitter systems
• New, standardised funnel feeding systems
• New, standardised hillside levelling systems
• New, standardised continuous drilling systems
• New, standardised plot seeder control unit in 2 versions

By "standardised" we mean consistent use on all plot seeders from the WINTERSTEIGER range, as previously different belted cones were used on WINTERSTEIGER and HEGE machines. The redeveloped and improved belted cone will be used on all newly delivered plot seeders. It is, of course, possible to obtain spare parts for all plot seeders previously supplied, to you, our most valued customer.

At the same time, the previously established, machines were given new names.
