Planning and managing seed
production is one of the most typical activities in a seed
company. Our ABS has already a seed production module, which
functions well. However with all the input we have received from
the companies using this module, we have decided to renew this
production module. Unique is the fact that we do that in very
close cooperation with our actual customers.
The new module will become functional not only for seed breeding
companies, but also for specialized seed production companies.
When both a breeding company and a production company are using
ABS, they will be capable of linking their information about the
production contracts. Also the use of a PDA in the field will
become an intgrated functionality of our system. The new Module
will be functional in autumn 2006.
HAPit BV is the world's leading provider of ERP software
solutions for the flower, field and vegetable seeds sector. For
10 years HAPit develops and sells the Agro Business System (ABS)
and has implementations around the world. Q-Seed is an ERP
system specially developed to serve the agricultural branch. The
customers of both applications will be served from HAPits main
office in Grootebroek, The Netherlands.
