Burr Ridge, Illinois
June 23, 2008

Nufarm Americas Inc. announces the receipt of expanded federal EPA registration for its Senator™ 600 FS seed treatment product.

Introduced into the North American market in 2007, Senator™ 600 FS delivers a 5-pound per gallon imidacloprid formulation proven to be highly effective against a broad variety of sucking and chewing pests destructive to corn, cotton, sorghum, soybean, cereals, and other crops.

With the receipt of the recent extended EPA registration, application approval for Senator™ 600 FS is broadened within the oil seed crop group to include Sunflower, Flax, Safflower, Borage and Crambe. The crop additions expand the brand’s utility among seed companies and seed treaters by offering a single, highly effective insecticide with tremendous cross-crop application capabilities.

“Our goal for Senator™ 600 FS was to introduce a proven insecticide product with enhanced formulation and usage that could provide greater inventory convenience for dealers and treaters,” commented Tim Stoehr, Nufarm’s Director of Sales, Seed Treatment. ”The expansion of uses within the oil seed crop group, and the brand’s 2 x 2.5 gallon case pack and 15 gallon drum offerings further broaden Senator™ 600 FS’s utility and convenience for our customers.”
