The Shareholders of CPB Twyford have
announced that the company's managing directory, Ray
Spreadbury, will be retiring in June 1999.
From July next year, the present
Technical Director, John Blackman, and Operations
Director, Theo Labuda, will become co-managing
directors. David Hamilton will continue as Finance Directory and
Company Secretary.
For the past two years, CPB Twyford has
posted an increasing operating profit and is well placed to grow still
further on the strength of cereal and hybrid rape sales throughout the
UK and EU.
The shareholders see the joint
appointment providing a continuation of the strategy that has brought
this success.
Ray Spreadbury's extensive experience on
the UK seed industry will continue to be available to the Company as
he will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
