Chilean seed corn company joins The CORE Group
Livingston, Wisconsin

The CORE Group is pleased to announce the addition of a new member. Doing business as PANAM, Semameris, a Chile-based seed corn company, is the second largest seed corn company in Chile. Modern seed corn facilities in Chile produce winter seed corn production for the USA market, as well as seed for PANAM sales in Chile, Argentina and Europe.

N1864a.jpg (4505 bytes)PANAM conducts an active corn research program based on South American germplasm. Hybrids are extensively tested in South American, USA and European locations. The CORE Group has included PANAM hybrids in the 1999-2000 testing program conducted by the Research Team of The CORE Group.

PANAM is an aggressive, forward-thinking seed company that will bring an international aspect to
The CORE Group. Initial discussions began in December 1997. Further contact and continued success of the High Cycle Seed Systems label lead to PANAM membership in The CORE Group. PANAM will represent High Cycle Seed Systems in Chile, Argentina, France, Spain, Italy and Germany.
