Seminis and Siegers team up for Northeastern USA
Zeeland, Michigan
November 16, 2000

Seminis, a worldwide breeder of vegetable seeds and parent company of Asgrow, Petoseed, Royal Sluis, Hungnong and Genecorp brands, has selected Siegers Seed Company as a distributor in the Northeastern United States, including the Great Lakes region.

Asgrow brand, well known for its beans, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, carrots and other species, had maintained its own sales force until recently and had been selling direct to the growers. Recent changes in distribution of Seminis brand products will utilize Siegers Seed Company seed consultants to represent them and other worldwide breeders of vegetable seed directly to commercial growers in the newly defined territory.

"Seminis and commercial vegetable growers are depending on our consultants and seed distribution expertise," said Roy Pearman, director of sales and marketing at Siegers Seed Company. "We are up to the challenge and it's great for Seminis to recognize our ability to professionally represent the Seminis brand products with dignity, ethics and unsurpassed know-how. We look forward to being able to bring our growers the added value of complete vegetable variety programs."

Siegers Seed Company is a distributor of a full line of fine quality vegetable seeds, specially treated for commercial growers. Founded in the early 1900's, Siegers Seed Company is dedicated to providing superior product, backed by the highest level of customer support available in the industry today.
