Petoseed, a world leader in the development and production of
high quality fruit and vegetable seeds, has gone on-line with its new website and simultaneously released its new, comprehensive catalog.
The Petoseed website (www.petoseed.com) serves as both an effective
introduction to the company and a valuable resource to those familiar with
Petoseed and its products. Site visitors can browse through an extensive
listing of Petoseed varieties. Each listing has a color photo and a product
description. Site visitors can also find the fifty year history of Petoseed,
addresses for Petoseed sales offices in 12 countries on 5 continents, the
Petoseed breeding and research goals, recent press releases and addresses
and links for authorized Petoseed dealers around the world.
The new Petoseed catalog contains many practical features that make
it both a valuable reference guide to Petoseed products and a useful tool
in the office or in the field. The catalog serves North America, Central
America and the Caribbean and is separated into seven sections: Brassica,
Cucurbit, Large Seed, Leafy, Rooted, Solanum and Reference. Along with
product information and photos there are easy to read planting charts,
conversion tables, a glossary and a guide to seed enhancements.
The catalog is spiral-bound so that it lays flat on a desk or
pick-up hood and extra pages have been included throughout the catalog for
note-taking and variety evaluations.
The year 2000 marks Petoseed's fiftieth year in the seed industry.
Now a division of Seminis, Petoseed is based in Oxnard, CA.
