The vacancy for a Chain Management at Rijk Zwaan USA

The Chain Manager is responsible for developing downstream concepts/projects with Rijk Zwaan vegetable seed products.  Within this role, you are responsible for attending produce industry meetings, developing promotional information on all RZ products in cooperation with support staff, interact with other team members/Crop Specialists and give input to Salinas management on strategies for market and business development.

We are seeking a Chain Manager with the following criteria:

• BSc. or higher in Agricultural business, Marketing, International Business, Consumer Behavior, Food Science,  Horticulture, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Chain related fields- Culinary, Seed business,  Grocery, Wholesale, Produce Marketing etc.,
• Strong communication, presentation, and written skills
• Strong interest in product knowledge, consumer behavior, produce supply Chain
• Ability to develop good long term industry  relationships
• Team oriented
• Be highly motivated,  and able to work independently
• Travel within the USA and Canada required
• Occasional travel to Europe required
