The vacancy of Greenhouse Technical Sales – USA & Canada  at Rijk Zwaan

 The Greenhouse Technical Sales is responsible for  technical support for  the greenhouse business of Rijk Zwaan products in the western region, crop lead for  greenhouse peppers.  
Responsible for product development which  involves new variety evaluation, semi commercial and commercial trial evaluations with commercial customers. 
Reports  to the Greenhouse business manager regarding market developments and product  performance.

Location is preferably British Columbia or western U.S. 
Travel is mainly within Western Canada, with occasional trips to the USA and Holland. 

We are seeking a Greenhouse Technical Sales Person with:

• Minimum of  B.Sc.  Agriculture, Horticulture  or related field
• Minimum of  5  years experience in the greenhouse industry
• Growing experience in a greenhouse  environment preferred
• Good written and communication skills
• Team oriented
• High level of motivation and ability to work independently.
• Strong interest in product knowledge.
• Reputation of ethical and credible behaviour
• Good social skills and interest to develop long term industry relationships.
