DuPont Pioneer expands service level in important dairy segment for Eastern Canada

Chatham, Ontario, Canada
December 4, 2012

DuPont Pioneer will increase its service to dairy customers by adding two new specialists for eastern Canada. Dairy specialists Marilyne Beaudry and Martina Pfister will provide customers with important information, knowledge and technical support to help producers get the most value out of DuPont Pioneer line-up of inoculants and forage products.

"DuPont Pioneer leads the market with the most complete line-up of inoculants, corn silage hybrids and alfalfa varieties," says Bryce Eger, business director of the Eastern Canada Commercial Unit for DuPont Pioneer. "Dairy producers will benefit from Martina's and Marilyne's wealth of dairy nutrition knowledge as they provide technical support for the DuPont Pioneer forage product offerings."

Beaudry supports dairy producers in Quebec and eastern Ontario with her strong background in dairy nutrition management. Prior to joining DuPont Pioneer, Beaudry was employed with Agribrands Purina, serving as a dairy consultant in western Quebec and eastern Ontario. Beaudry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from McGill University and holds accreditation with the O.A.Q (Ordre des Agronomes du Québec).

Pfister brings solid experience to dairy producers in central and western Ontario. Pfister graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Guelph. Before joining DuPont Pioneer, Pfister was the western Ontario dairy consultant for Alltech Canada, working closely with dairy producers on dairy nutrition and management.

"With forages becoming a more important part of the feed ration on dairy farms year after year, it is important that we are able to help our customers make the most out of every acre they plant and every tonne they harvest," adds Robert Larmer, Livestock Information Manager, DuPont Pioneer. "I'm excited to have Martina and Marilyne on board to continue providing industry-leading knowledge and management advice to our customers."
