AHDB Recommended Lists for Cereals and Oilseeds 2019/20 booklet out now

United Kingdom
February 13, 2019

The popular booklet format of the Recommended Lists for cereals and oilseeds (RL) has been published on our website. It follows the launch of the RL 2019/20 data in December 2018.

The latest RL features varieties with exceptional disease resistance packages. Several new entrants have impressive disease resistance scores, including the highest winter wheat disease resistance rating for septoria tritici. With winter oilseed rape untreated gross output figures included for the first time, the RL provides an essential foundation for disease management.

The booklet includes lists for winter wheat, spring wheat, winter barley, spring barley, winter oats, spring oats and winter oilseed rape. It also contains Descriptive Lists for spring oilseed rape, spring linseed, winter triticale and winter rye. Information on the performance of Candidate varieties – which are now in their first or second year of Recommended List trials – is also published.

The RL pocketbooks for wheat, barley and oats, and winter oilseed rape, which provide at-a-glance information, will be published in late spring.
