CS 30 Premium seed monitor - Monosem completes its range of non-ISOBUS seed monitors

France
October 15, 2019

In addition to its ISOBUS solutions, MONOSEM completes its range of non-ISOBUS seed monitors. The latest addition to the MONOSEM range of seed monitors: the Premium version of CS 30. The complete range of seed monitors will be presented at Agritechnica (Hall 11, stand C54).

A Simplified and Progressive Offer
The range of seed monitors consists of 2 models: the CS 10, with LEDs and the CS 30 equipped with an LCD screen. These seed monitors make it possible to continuously check the information related to the operation of the planter. The CS 30 now has a premium version called Premium. In addition to the two existing Classic and Comfort versions, the CS 30 Premium is distinguished by its features related to row cut-offs. Switching from one version to another is achieved through an activation key. For dealers, this operation has the advantage of simplifying the management of the stock. For users, this activation key ordered from their dealer, allows them to upgrade their product to the next version.

CS 30 Premium and CR 30
The CS 30 Premium has, as in the Comfort version, seed distance, surface, and exclusive functions such as the fertilizer passage control, the Microsem rotation control or the turbofan speed rotation control (sensors available on option). In its Premium version, the CS 30 is equipped with an additional box: the CR 30. Thanks to this box, the seed controller can manage up to 12 rows cut-offs (electromagnetic row cut-offs on option). To meet the multiple demands of users, this box has 3 management modes:

  • temporary; to finish a field or in the tips for example,
  • permanent; for mixed planters used with different numbers of rows depending on the crop or for seed production,
  • automatic; to make tramlines, for example.

To control the row cut-offs, the box CR 30 is equipped, on the one hand, with 12 switches to cut the row or rows desired quickly. It also has a sequential mode, controlled by 4 keys, to cut the rows from left to right or from right to left. This mode is useful in tips. All temporary breaks are automatically reactivated during U-turns.

Suitable for all ranges of planter units, the CS 30 Premium, and its complementary box will be available in limited quantities for Spring 2020. Customers will be able to upgrade their CS 30 to the Premium version from the following planting with the purchase of the activation key and CR 30.
