ISTA Symposium in the framework of 2022 ISTA Congress

Seed quality, health, and identity are of paramount importance for the global economy and the environment.
To discuss all aspects of seed quality, the symposium brings together seed analysts, technologists, researchers, and managers from universities, research institutes, government, and the seed trade.

The Seed Symposium of the 33rd ISTA Congress in Christchurch, New Zealand will be under the theme 'Quality Seed for Sustainable Agriculture.
It will provide a forum for discussion of the latest advances in seed science and technology, as well as an opportunity to exchange ideas and information.
We welcome papers on established and novel seed testing methods, and on tropical and temperate crop species, wild species, flowers, trees, and shrubs, including species with potential for use in plant breeding and in habitat regeneration.
Intending participants are invited to submit oral and poster papers. There will be an award given to the best speaker and the best poster.
Deadline for submitting papers: 1 October 2021
