We keep “making the difference” also in leafy crops
Innovative concepts and new leafy varieties
On 25 February 2022, the Winter Leafy Days concluded successfully. During these two weeks, we held more than 50 customized meetings in their demo field located in El Albujón (Murcia), both physically and digitally, allowing customers from all around the world to take part in the event. Participants had the chance to discover innovative concepts and new varieties for leafy and open field crops and came from very different areas such as Germany, England, Oceania, South Africa, South America and Poland, among others, highlighting the international soul of the event.
Resistance Makes The Difference
With this type of events, we keep getting closer and closer to customers. Once again, one of the main pillars of the whole storytelling was “Resistance Makes The Difference”, underlining how our seed company is strongly committed to breed resistant varieties that add value to all the chain, from growers to consumers. In this case of leafy crops, focus was put on varieties with Full Resistance (BI:16-37) and Fusarium.
Melon House Fair 2022
We are continuing making the difference. Our colleagues in Spain are now starting to prepare the Melon House Fair 2022, which will take place in El Albujón (Murcia) from June 26th to July 7th, 2022.

Éxito tras los Winter Leafy Days 2022
El 25 de febrero concluyeron con éxito los Winter Leafy Days 2022. Durante estas dos semanas muchos clientes internacionales han tenido la ocasión de conocer todas las novedades en cultivos de hoja y aire libre. Ha sido posible participar a las reuniones, tanto de forma presencial como virtual, ofreciendo visitas 100% customizadas al campo demo de El Albujón (Murcia) y permitiendo a todos los clientes interesados participar desde cualquier parte del mundo. De hecho, han participado clientes desde distintas zonas geográficas como Alemania, Inglaterra, Oceanía, Sudáfrica, América del Sur y Polonia entre otros, remarcando el carácter internacional del evento.
Las resistencias marcan la diferencia
Este evento tiene como objetivo conectar con clientes de todo el mundo y permitir que éstos vean de primera mano los programas y novedades en cultivos de hoja, tanto para fresco como para procesado, enfocándose principalmente en variedades para el mercado internacional. Una vez más, uno de los hilos conductores del evento ha sido ‘Las Resistencias marcan la diferencia’, subrayando como la casa de semilla continúa apostado por la mejora vegetal con variedades resistentes que ofrezcan valor a toda la cadena desde el agricultor hasta el consumidor final. En el caso de cultivos de hojas, se han presentado variedades Full resistance (BI: 16-37) y Fusarium.
Melon House Fair 2022
Enza Zaden continúa marcando la diferencia también en cultivo de hojas y se preparan ya para el próximo gran evento de respiro internacional, Melon House Fair 2022, que tendrá lugar en sus instalaciones de El Albujón (Murcia) desde el 26 de junio al 7 de julio 2022.
