Co-hosted by Asia & Pacific Seed Alliance (APSA) and Thai Seed Trade Association (THASTA) as the official National Organizing Committee, the Congress is held during 14 – 18 November 2022, at the Bangkok Convention Center at CentralWorld.
Chia Tai Company Limited, led by Mr. Manas Chiaravanond, Chief Executive Officer, alongside other company’s senior management participates in the Asian Seed Congress 2022. With more than 1,100 people in attendance from 50 different nations across the world, the event is organized with an aim to further advance Thailand’s food security goals, as well as to assiduously empower and encourage Thailand to not only be the regional hub for plant breeding, seed production and trade, but also to ultimately become “the world’s leader in tropical seed production” in the long run.
In addition, the Congress features the visit of Chia Tai Omnoi Seed Laboratory as part of the exclusive ASC 2022 Post-Congress Tour in which over 150 APSA delegates are welcomed to witness and experience the innovative seed production technology and quality seed laboratory that is certified by International Seed Testing Association (ISTA). In fact, Chia Tai is among the first businesses in Thailand to achieve this highly world-class certification.
The Food Security at Asian Seed Congress 2022 is a major gathering of delegates from various nations who share a common mission in developing the agricultural industry to promote sustainable food security and to manage climatic unpredictability that directly affects crop production.
