On Tuesday, AHRI hosted Professor Steve Shirtliffe for a seminar on the topic 'Can we reduce dependence on herbicides for cropping? A Canadian perspective'.

His past and current research projects have focused on the ecology and control of volunteer canola; cereal, pulse and oilseed agronomy; non-herbicidal weed control; and agronomic applications for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs aka drones).
