Since 21 February, 2012 INCOTEC International BV (INCOTEC) is GSPP 2.0 accredited. This accreditation is granted by the GSPP (Good Seed and Plant Practices) foundation, initiated by the French and Dutch tomato breeding and plant raising companies, united in Plantum NL, UFS and SF3P. In adopting the protocols required for accreditation INCOTEC is taking every measure possible to prevent infection of tomato seeds with Clavibacter michiganesis subsp. michiganesis (Cmm) and is the first subcontractor to attain this accreditation.

There have been an increasing number of Cmm outbreaks during the last several years. The GSPP accreditation will assure growers that their seeds have been handled under strictly
controlled conditions and that the seed is in optimal condition to produce a healthy and successful tomato crop.

INCOTEC verkrijgt GSPP accreditatie

Per 21 februari 2012 is INCOTEC GSPP-geaccrediteerd. Deze accreditatie is verleend door
de stichting GSPP, een initiatief van Nederlandse en Franse tomatenkwekerijen en
zaadbedrijven, verenigd in Plantum NL, UFS en SF3P. Met de implementatie van de
protocollen die nodig zijn voor deze accreditatie, neemt INCOTEC elke mogelijke maatregel
die nodig is om infectie van tomatenzaden met Clavibacter michiganesis subsp.
michiganesis (Cmm) te voorkomen. INCOTEC is hiermee de eerste toeleverancier die deze
accreditatie heeft ontvangen.

Het aantal uitbraken van Cmm is de laatste jaren fors toegenomen. De GSPP accreditatie
verzekert telers ervan dat hun tomatenzaden volgens strenge eisen worden behandeld en
dat het in optimale conditie is om gezonde en vitale gewassen te produceren.
