SynTech Research is to expand its Latin American team with the appointment of Mr. Hermes Nonino as Managing Director in Brazil and as Regional Director. Mr. Nonino will take up his appointment on 8 September 2014.

Announcing his appointment, Dr. Khosro Khodayari, President and CEO, SynTech Research said, “As Brazil’s Managing Director, Hermes’ role will focus on the development and expansion of satellite sites for GLP, Seed and Traits, Ecotoxicology (particularly pollinators) and Bioefficacy (GEP) services in the different climatic zones of Brazil. As Regional Director he will look to enhance these offerings throughout the Latin American region.”

Having obtained a degree as Agronomic Engineer from São Paulo State University, Piracicaba, Brazil, Hermes completed his marketing and sales training at the INSEAD Business School in France. Since then he has spent over 20 years in a number of senior technical and managerial roles with Syngenta, Dow and T.L. Wiles Associates in England, Italy, France, USA, Argentina and Brazil.
