International Licensing Platform (ILP) established

Enkhuizen, The Netherlands
November 21, 2014

Enza Zaden established the International Licensing Platform (ILP) together with ten other international vegetable breeding companies. All over the world the participating breeders are guaranteed access to patented characteristics of vegetable varieties at a fair charge, to enable them to continue to develop new vegetable varieties that meet the global demand for food. Membership of the ILP is open to all breeding companies, with our without patents to their name.

With the agreements that have been made in the context of the ILP the participants ensure that breeders can carry out their work unhampered, while securing the major investments in time, money and knowledge that are necessary for research in this innovative sector. This cooperation is the ideal solution for allowing the use of patents relating to plant characteristics in our sector.

For more information on membership of the ILP please contact Chris van Winden
