Direct drilling of soybeans in Brazil
Bayer CropScience and the civil organization Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS) are uniting to help soy producers certify their crops according to RTRS standards. A non-exclusive agreement between Bayer CropScience and RTRS aims to facilitate the certification of soy production according to the RTRS standard, by stimulating use of Bayer’s Valore program. RTRS Certification assures that soy, either as a raw material or as a by-product, originated from a process that is environmentally correct, socially adequate and economically viable.
Bayer’s Valore program offers soy producers a diagnosis visit, an action plan, training, a pre-audit visit, and facilitation of third-party auditing, measures which will help soy producers reach the required certification levels. Additionally, Bayer CropScience will offer its RTRS-certified customers special commercial conditions. The cooperation is focused on Brazil and may be extended to soy producers in other countries in Latin America in a next future stage.

Bayer CropScience e RTRS unem esforços para promover a certificação da soja no Brasil
A Bayer CropScience e a Associação Internacional de Soja Responsável (RTRS – Round Table on Responsible Soy em inglês) estão se unindo para ajudar os produtores de soja a certificar suas lavouras, de acordo com padrões da RTRS. O acordo não-exclusivo entre a Bayer CropScience e a RTRS visa facilitar a certificação da produção de soja por meio da adoção do programa Valore da Bayer. A certificação RTRS assegura que a soja, seja como matéria-prima ou subproduto, tenha sido originada de um processo de produção agrícola sustentável, ou seja, ambientalmente correto, socialmente adequado e economicamente viável.
O programa Valore, da Bayer, oferece aos produtores de soja visita de diagnóstico, plano de ação, treinamento, visita de pré-auditoria e a facilitação de auditoria de terceiros, medidas essas que ajudarão os produtores de soja a alcançarem os níveis de certificação exigidos. Além disso, a Bayer CropScience oferecerá condições comerciais especiais aos seus clientes certificados pela RTRS. A parceria ocorre no Brasil e pode ser estendida para os produtores de soja de outros países da América Latina futuramente.

Bayer CropScience und Round Table on Responsible Soy wollen gemeinsam Sojazertifizierung in Brasilien unterstützen
Bayer CropScience und die Organisation Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS) wollen Soja-Produzenten künftig gemeinsam bei der Zertifizierung ihrer Kulturen nach RTRS-Standards helfen. Über einen nicht-exklusiven Vertrag zwischen Bayer CropScience und RTRS soll die Zertifizierung der Sojaproduktion gemäß RTRS-Standard unterstützt werden. Dazu soll das Programm Valore von Bayer verstärkt eingesetzt werden. Die RTRS-Zertifizierung gewährleistet, dass Soja - ob als Rohstoff oder als verarbeitetes Produkt - aus einer Erzeugung stammt, die umweltgerecht, sozialverträglich und wirtschaftlich tragfähig ist.
Das Programm Valore von Bayer bietet Soja-Produzenten einen Erstbesuch zur Bestandsaufnahme, Unterstützung bei der Planung künftiger Schritte, Schulungen, eine Vorprüfung sowie Hilfestellung bei einer Prüfung durch Dritte. Diese Maßnahmen sollen Soja-Anbauern helfen, die für die Zertifizierung nötigen Bedingungen zu erfüllen. Darüber hinaus will Bayer CropScience allen RTRS-zertifizierten Kunden spezielle kommerzielle Anreize bieten. Die Kooperation ist zunächst auf Brasilien konzentriert und könnte später auf Soja-Produzenten in anderen Ländern in Lateinamerika ausgeweitet werden.
