Western Grains Research Foundation is the largest grains research
funding organization for farmers in Western Canada. The Foundation is
funded and directed exclusively by producers, who allocate
approximately $5 million annually toward wheat and barley development
and related crop research in Western Canada. Farmers get results in
the form of new wheat and barley varieties, and a range of new
technology to improve production and maintain Canada’s
competitiveness. |
