APSA is
organising the Asian Seed 2002 Congress at the
Hotel New World Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from
17 to 21 November 2002. More than 450 delegates from at least
60 countries are expected to attend this important
international event. In addition to a technical conference on
important issues such as seed quality assurance, harmonisation
of phytosanitary issues, PVP/IPR issues and other topics,
there will be a seed exhibition and trading tables for
business meetings.
This event provides an
excellent opportunity to meet practically all key persons
involved in the international seed business as well as
executives from various international organisations such as
ISF (FIS+ASSINSEL), FAO, CGIAR Centres (IRRI, ICRISAT,
CIMMYT), AVRDC, APAARI, ASTA, USDA, ISTA, UPOV, the World
Trade Organisation, the Asian Development Bank and the World
Bank.
