Are you using
organic seed treatment?
No, we do not use any
organic or non-organic materials to treat our seed. All our
seeds are untreated.
Our seed processing center is located in a dry desert area
where the environmental conditions are optimal around
the year and keep the seeds at their highest quality. To
preserve the initial quality and to avoid contamination,
we keep the seed in an optimal surrounding environment:
- Facilities:
All facilities and equipment are kept
at a very high
level of cleanliness. The machinery is thoroughly cleaned before and after every lot and the total
working environment is shining clean at any
given time.
- Storage:
After the seeds have been cleaned,
we place them in ‘controlled atmosphere refrigerators’ with
low humidity (25% R.H.), low temperature (15-17 C), good
ventilation and in perforated cotton bags.
The controlled storage combined with
the surrounding desert environment maintains the quality and
viability of the seeds for a long period. |
