Staphyt continue to extend its network in Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Spain
and France

France
October 27, 2010

Belgium

Our field station is located near Gembloux (Walhain). We have received the governmental recognition for carrying out GEP trials under reference 19SL.

This station is managed by Simon Delannoy & Xavier Bourgeois, helped by several agronomists from the Northern France station, which is very close. This allows a perfect
combination with local & company knowledge.

From this location, we cover all Belgian agronomic regions and all representative crops, such as cereals, sugar beet, potatoes (with the large irrigated/inoculated potato blight field platforms
from which we gained a solid reputation by clients), and on vegetables & orchards in the northern region.

Hungary & Romania

Staphyt has signed a strategic alliance with Agrofil for theses two countries. This partner is established on two main sites in Hungary: Kisbodak/Puski (North west) and Mindszent (South east). From these sites, complete agronomic regions are covered.

Trials are carried out under GEP.

Agrofil is the leader in Hungary on seed & variety trials (maize, sunflower, oilseed rape, cereals, …). This high reputation comes from the use of high tech seed drills controlled by GPS technology and the latest generation of combine harvesters. In addition to high precision, these tools allow an exceptional reactivity & speediness ; and so Agrofil offers very competitive prices compared to the existing offer from public institutes.

The field benefit is also magnified due to the data management system offered by Staphyt for which the clients have access online (Phytnet), in the same way than any other trials carried out in the EU.

In addition, due to Romanian border proximity and existing contacts, Agrofil is carrying numerous seed & variety trials in Arad region (Northern Romania),

Slovakia

Staphyt covers also Slovakia for seed & variety trials from the GEP field station located near Brno (Czech republic), since spring 2010.

France

A strategic alliance has been signed with Heliantis experimentation.

These two companies remain independent but are complementarily in terms of geographical spread, and offer a great opportunity for clients. Heliantis experimentation will have access to international market and leading IT tools while Staphyt will have a better spread in France and in particular in the Rhone valley and Burgundy region.

Heliantis experimentation has gained a high reputation through the years in conducting trials on Plant Protection Products and also on seed & variety trials (arable crops, vegetables and flowers), which is the companies core business.

Spain

A strategic alliance has been signed with two historic and major CRO’s in Spain: Agrosoler and Trialcamp.

Staphyt has established long relations with theses two companies which are familiar with our internal procedures.

Agrosoler will be in charge of most of GEP trials while Trialcamp will carry out mainly GLP studies, including ecotox studies (bumble bees, testing on bee larvae, Thyphlodromus, earthworms, and other soil micro organisms) under field and lab conditions.

All the Spanish regions will be covered: Alicante, Almeria, Badajoz, Coruña, Huelva, La Rioja, Lleida, Murcia, Sevilla, Valencia, Zaragoza, Gerona… allowing us to carry out all field trial types in the southern zone, according to regulation EC 1107/2009, with access to all important crops belonging to cereal grains, cotton, olives, citrus, tuber plants, vegetables under conventional (open field and protected) & hydroponic conditions, strawberries, citrus, stone and pip fruits, ornamentals and also other minor crops such us kiwi, hazel nut, walnut, almond, avocado, sugar cane and bananas in the Canary islands.

With Staphyt, be sure that you will have the same rigorous trial quality and follow up with the latest IT tools, whatever the country.
