ISTA is in regular
contact with its members, providing information via its News
Bulletin and increasingly through its website. Educational
programmes are provided mainly through Workshops. ISTA
currently requires each of its Technical Committees to run at
least one workshop annually; these take place at various sites
around the world.ISTA is also involved with other
organisations (e.g. APSA) in running educational seed testing
programmes, and ISTA members often are involved on an
individual basis with educational programmes worldwide.
Additionally at its Annual Meetings and triennial Congress,
ISTA provides educational opportunities through its open
meetings and special presentations. ISTA welcomes non-member
participation in any of its events, but reserves the right, if
places are limited, to offer them to ISTA members before
non-members.
