How does ISTA disseminate information and publications to its members and to other seed professionals around the world?
The ISTA Secretariat is responsible for the communication inside the Association and with all interested persons or associations.

Right before the annual membership meetings all ISTA members and the main stakeholders receive the activity reports from the Executive Committee and the Technical Committees, the proposed Rules changes and the position papers being discussed and decided on by the membership during the meetings.

As an ongoing process ISTA members receive automatically the new Rules and Rules amendments and the newly published ISTA handbooks and proceedings.

The ISTA News Bulletin, provided to all members as well as any other interested person, updates on all the activities of ISTA and publishes reports from meetings/workshops, position papers, e.g. The ISTA News Bulletin can be ordered from the ISTA Secretariat free of charge. Also ISTA position papers normally will be forwarded to seed magazines for publication.

All information regarding ISTA can also be found on the web at www.seedtest.org. ISTA publications can directly be ordered from there.

In addition ISTA runs a unique consultancy service. Requests addressed to the ISTA Secretariat by letter or email regarding a problem of any institution in the area of seed science and technology will be answered through the corresponding ISTA Technical Committees. This consultancy service is free of any charges.

In summary - ISTA is proud of its extensive information service to all members, stakeholders and interested persons.
