For labs there are the regular interactions arising from ISTA's Referee Testing Programme, ISTA's Accreditation Dept., ISTA's Technical Committees, and ISTA's Executive Committee. All members also receive ISTA Technical Committee information and news, via the Newsletter and website.

This interaction is a two-way process, as the Secretariat also asks members for their views on issues, proposals for Rules changes etc. ISTA is a successful international organisation because of the effective communication channels between the Secretariat and the membership.
