Alforex Seeds, the Alfalfa Seed Business Unit of Dow AgroSciences, will rename and distribute its Producer’s Choice™ alfalfa and forage seed products as Alforex Seeds brand. The renaming is effective October 2014. “The change to the Alforex Seeds brand reflects the expansion of our company and its capabilities. Moving forward as one national brand will best serve our customers and provide growers a clear channel for new technologies and varieties from the Alforex and Dow AgroSciences pipeline,” explained Alforex Seeds General Manager Ron Cornish.
For fall 2014 planting in the southwestern states, and nationally for 2015, the Alforex Seeds brand will feature the former Producer’s Choice PGI varieties that growers are familiar with. These varieties, as well as emerging technologies and new varieties poised for launch in 2015, will be represented and supported by the same team who managed the growth of the Producer’s Choice brand.
“These are very exciting times at Alforex Seeds and this rebranding effort is just one more step in our transformation plan to provide better solutions to hay and forage producers,” said Cornish.
Alforex Seeds focuses on developing and delivering alfalfa and forage solutions that help hay, livestock and dairy producers maximize the profitability of their operations. Through its affiliation with Dow AgroSciences, Alforex Seeds offers customers access to world-class systems, technologies and solutions.
