TWO DAYS TOO VALUABLE TO MISS; TOO MUCH TO GAIN if you’re in the professions of farming, food production, food manufacturing or ancillary businesses.

BCPC’s Congress morning sessions on November 4, 2025, in Harrogate will be an unmissable opportunity to gain critical insights into the radically changing future of this important sector.

The impact of climate change, environmental pressures, global conflicts and trade are putting increasing pressure on this dynamic industry.

Understanding the implications of those changing times and how to adapt will be key to the future success of your business. And who better to set the scene for this two-day event than Allan WilkinsonHead of Agrifoods at HSBC UK, with a global perspective on food production offering an overview of market trends and financial outlooks for the sector.

Impacting on its success will be future regulatory shifts and their implications for food security highlighted by Corrado Finardi of CropLife Europe, who will present the European Commission’s vision for agriculture and food.

After a networking break, the focus then turns to UK food production and supply policy with Sarah Woolford from AHDB addressing the mounting pressures on agriculture and offering insights to inform planning on both side of the farm gate.

Robert Sheasby of the Agricultural Industries Confederation will then share the supply trades’ perspective, giving a comprehensive view of the challenges and opportunities to maintaining a successful supply chain.

The session concludes with a Q&A panel, offering your chance to ask questions, share concerns, and connect with key influencers in the sector.

And this is just a snapshot of the first morning’s sessions!
