In the autumn days of October, on the golden fields, the large model field of more than 300 hectares of TBR97 rice variety planted at Binh Dinh Cooperative (Hung Yen) has become a brilliant highlight of the 2025 Summer-Autumn crop. Many delegates, scientists and farmers directly visited, evaluated, and all shared the same feeling: TBR97 is truly a rice variety of trust and efficiency.
 

Despite the complicated weather this year, with consecutive storms and rains affecting the panicle initiation and flowering stages, and when ready for harvest, TBR97 still maintains its performance with a short growing period, strong stems, good lodging resistance, and especially the ability to resist bacterial leaf blight in the Summer-Autumn crop. The average yield is 250-270 kg of fresh rice/sao, with white rice quality, sticky rice, clear and bright grains, highly appreciated by farmers for its economic efficiency and stability over many crops.
 

Along with TBR97, delegates were also introduced to the new generation of rice varieties from ThaiBinh Seed - including TBR19, TBR125, Dong A2, BT7KBL-02, TBH456... Each variety has high adaptability to climate change, outstanding productivity, good rice quality and is suitable for many different ecological zones.

This conference to visit and evaluate the variety set not only brings a realistic and objective view of ThaiBinh Seed's research and development capacity of plant variety products, but also affirms the trust and companionship between businesses and new farmers.
