Independent Professional Seed Association (IPSA) presents a seed sales by count overview

USA
August 12, 2010

Thursday, August 26, 2010 • 10:00 a.m. Central Time

The National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM) has positively impacted farmers and seed companies nationwide by allowing seed to be sold by count in addition to weight. It has also generated questions regarding the implementation of these procedures.

The Independent Professional Seed Association (IPSA), in cooperation with the Association of Official Seed Analysts (AOSA) and the Illinois Crop Improvement Association (ICIA), recognizes the need for specific explanation and training on the subject.

Anita Hall, Executive Assistant for AOSA and Doug Miller, RGT, SCST President and Business Development Director for ICIA will guide us through these procedures and answer questions from participants.

Participation is FREE for IPSA members. Non-members will be charged a fee of $40 for each connection, which will need to be paid in advance of the webinar.

After registering online, you will be redirected to the IPSA web site where non-members will have the opportunity to pay online with a credit card or by check. If you are a member of IPSA, you may disregard this page. Once your payment is received, you will be given a link and log in information for the webinar.

This is an audio broadcast with a live powerpoint presentation.

High speed internet is required for this event.
